Day in the hospital getting my heart checked out, thought I had a heart attack with pains in my chest, nope, my first panic attack ever I guess. What a roller coaster, good to have that closure though.
cant like that. my brother dealt with severe anxiety and panic attacks for years. hope you can get it sorted out dude.

I have no idea what happened, I’m not overly anxious person, but I felt a sharp pain in my chest and it felt WRONG, immediately after that the panic attack happened, of course I didn’t understand because never had one before. Heart palpitations chest tightness and everything

spent 10 hours waiting, the wait was mental torture

Take it easy there jug, stress is something we can control. Worrying never helps anything, though my wife worries about everything. I worry about nothing. Did they do an EKG and d-dimer test? If all clear, you are ok. Good luck.

There has been new stress in my life recently which probably sparked it. They did the whole shebang, ECG, bloodwork and X-rays on my lungs just to make sure there wasnt air leaking causing pain. thanks man I will be taking it easy next couple days

My wife has had panic attacks in the past. She normally could chill till it passed. A few times we've had to call the ambulance and have her checked at the hospital. Not a pleasant event at all.

Better a false alarm than a real emergency. Glad she is ok.

I’m much more empathetic towards people who suffer them now that’s for sure.

Did the ol’ shim and bucket need more shims on this shiny new head?

No shims or buckets.
Hydraulic stationary lash adjusters.
Not like those imports everyone claims are so special.
I could never figure that one out..
Only GM engine with adjustable lash in years is the Duramax.

Interesting! That’s sure a lot easier to assemble I’m sure. I HATED shim and bucket. It wasn’t hard, just so damn time consuming.

As much as you may be tempted or think it’s a good idea, this is not the time to head to the corner weed shop to try and relax yourself.

Had a fiat with the inverted buckets with the shims. Easy if you have an assortment of the shims. Pita if you don't. I didn't.

Yeah won’t be doing that lol. That stuff makes me anxious. They gave me a couple days worth of Ativan to chill out

I always had access to all the shims, I was an engine machinist and builder by trade. They were easy, just time consuming as I stated previously. I just didn’t care for them, because they took away too much time. Time I could be doing something else that I enjoyed much more, like anything else in the shop lol
