I painted walls today. Mind numbing repetitive work. Think I almost fell asleep at one point. Could've used a rape whistle to whistle while I worked and stay awake
Funny, I always find a way to curse out loud while painting.
I fugging HATE that chit, especially cutting in around windows and doors.

My favorite thing to do on Facebook is join random community groups and post that I saw a man in a blue diesel Chevy with West Virginia plates and a Husqvarna sticker on the back chucking piss jugs out the window on (insert random street from Google maps). Gets the Karens riled up pretty good.

If it weren't for that I'd get rid of FB too.

They are just pets. Wife wanted goats, so we compromised, we got goats. Tried milking, realized goat milk is gross just like cow milk, but worse. They all have and know their names. They give me stuff to do, and they create jobs for me that I wouldn't have otherwise. Truth be told, I am kinda attached to them. 5hey even have their own website as we don't Facebook. So he friends can keep up with the goats. Lol
Now I understand.
Wife enjoys their "personalities" and such. You just enjoy getting a few minutes with a machine to go and "take care" of them.
It works out for all affected parties.
We have a 7 pound "hellhound" that my wife has nurtured from an 8 ounce hand full of "mystery pup" to the 9 year old critter we have now.
Turns out shes mostly Miniature Greyhound with a little Chihuahua thrown in for extra insecurity.:)

Wouldnt trade her in for anything. She's like my kid. Kinda dumb how a fella falls for the weak things that need saving...

I understand your position entirely, the chickens here I have become attached to, and greet them to let ‘em out early every morning. Good pets that are easy keeping and earn their keep with eggs
Eggs is something I COULD get behind, except for the fact that Bosslady cant deal with the birds.
More importantly, she cant deal with the feathers.
Freak her out apparently.

Hanging ain't to bad. Finishing yeah I agree wit ya
Finishing drywall has always been one of those things I hated, because I suck at it.
Had to redo the guest bedroom a couple of years ago, after the window leaked and rotted the wall and sills.
Googled some tips on finishing, and ran across USGs website.
Their CEO gave a quick intro in his suit at his desk, then cut to him in actual work clothes and a no bullchit quick lesson on how to make decent joints, the right tools(that I DID NOT have at the time), and quick tricks on mud and how to put it on/take it off.
That helped me more than anything ever.
Would DEFINITELY off myself if I had to do it every day tho...:p

The Mrs has been talking about getting chickens... we currently buy eggs from the Amish a few miles away, but we go through about 4 dozen a week. Talk me out of it, or into it.
Easy enough.
Whos going to be responsible for taking care of them?
Answer. You.
Do you have time?
Yes. Get chickens.
No. Dont get chickens.

I have ducks and chickens. They both take very little time out of my day. Let them out in the morning and at night they put themselves away. Just gotta shut the doors, top off food and water. Done. About 5 minutes a day. I change their bedding in both houses once about every 2 weeks. Takes about 20 minutes and that's with them underfoot inspecting my work lol. Eggs are nice and I enjoy them and their antics

Thought I spotted some cast aluminum and a couple of possible camshafts.
Rest of it looked like a closeup shot of a Borg "cube" from the 90s Star Trek spinoff, less the slo-mo...

Yeah Subaru crams a lot of junk on top of them little flat fours. I do admire the fact that they omitted a beauty cover. Honestly, except for the driver's side valve cover being really tight against the frame rail, it's not too bad to work on. Canister filter right on top too, so oil changes are super easy.

Pretty similar.
I like to cut em into smaller pieces, 3; one from below the midline and two from above. Dry, dip in flour, egg, then panko breadcrumbs. Then shallow fry til golden.
Daughter is gluten and dairy intolerant tho, so cut, dried and panfried in butter with Moroccan spice often wins out.
You can't cook fresh fish badly can you?
Nope, and that last method sounds pretty good to me with my current coronary needs. Much healthier than fried.
Panko crumbs are AMAZING tho.:)

No, but here's a cock pic for you guys

They are easy to take care of. Each one lays an egg per day in the summer. They don't lay a whole lot in the wintertime but they handle the cold weather just fine. I do wrap the pen with 4 mil plastic in the winter to keep the wind off of them. Build a good coop and pen one time and the work involved in caring for them is minimal. I clean mine out completely maybe three or 4 times a year, I add straw or wood chips maybe every couple weeks. Raccoons and hawks are the biggest predators. My coop is pretty well sealed so I haven't had many issues with them but there were a few raccoons that slipped in once. 50 pound bag of food lasts about 6-8 weeks and costs about $20. Eggs are definitely better than store bought, they are less bland. I enjoy sitting on the back porch and watching them and when family visits with their kids, they love going and getting eggs and chasing them around the yard.
Ahem, nice cock bruh.
Dont act like ALL you mfers didnt look at it...;)
