Sounds about right…one of the best drywallers I know doesn’t have a license…amazing how he can do such high quality work

After high school, I hired on at a drywall company in sconnie, that's still my trade to this day.

For 2 years I worked with a guy named Randy G at that drywall company, 5 dui's multiple driving without license tickets, owner of the company paid me extra to make sure Randy was on the job everyday. He could not work sober, I saw that first hand a few times, get a few beers in him, there was no slowing him down, and he did good work also.

I'd go get some food for lunch he would give a few bucks to get him a 12 pack of leinenkugel's, just so he could get through the rest of the day. No one in that entire company could produce the square footage like Randy could, I learned a lot about production from him.

yeh that’s what the old days were like for some peeps….. finding a driver to help them carryon…

now I,m not gonna say it was right or wrong… but it helped them keep their businesses ticking over..

I’ve done the same to a few friends, weather it’s a coworker or my boss o_O

it all comes down to being a good friend or a cheap hoe..

I guess the legal driver decides what he is…And I’ve been used as both from the same person after some thought  if you get what I’m saying…

I must of been a hoe then, as I was just doing it for the money. :)

So many gubbenent departments, no knowing what she’s doing. Wifey does the same for the taxman.
Nearly had to get @full chizel to pick up @Woodpecker on his way up. Tree is off the roof now, but still on the lawn so it can wait.
Power back on now too, Chriz is that good.

That’s scary. They’ve had a few vicious storms blow through. We haven’t had the same tornadoes/ extreme storms they’ve had, we just have the constant never more than 3 days without rain.

They announced today this is the wettest spring in over 100 years, paired with the winter we had likely the wettest 6 month stretch in recorded history.

It is really bad in some areas, the only relief is that each storm seems to hit a different spot the hardest. Combined with strong winds today the south basin of lake Winnipeg was up almost 5 ft.
Rain so hard in the city that the drainage system could not keep up. We had 3 staff with water in their basements today. This is one of the busiest commuter routes from the North side of the city.

I can’t take all the credit
Check this out Gary. This was in 2014. They had to send the State Police dive team to check to see if any cars or people were trapped under there.

Gfy broken exhaust bolts..
The rear one wouldn't drill, every time I welded to it, it would pull out about 2 more threads.
I ended up having to grind it out and time-sert the bastard.

Damn fine job Ed.

After high school, I hired on at a drywall company in sconnie, that's still my trade to this day.

For 2 years I worked with a guy named Randy G at that drywall company, 5 dui's multiple driving without license tickets, owner of the company paid me extra to make sure Randy was on the job everyday. I'd go get some food for lunch he would give a few bucks to get him a 12 pack of leinenkugel's, just so he could get through the rest of the day. No one in that entire company could produce the square footage like Randy could, I learned a lot about production from him.

My dad painted cars. And drank beer. You wouldn't have wanted to see a car he painted sober.
