Beautiful afternoon here. It was too quiet and way too crunchy in the woods this afternoon. The squirrels were on top of this mfer for his first time out. Mostly watching, I shot more than I should have at the distances they stayed but I nailed a couple. Had four deer come 20 yds from me. Milled around for about five min before they noticed the beard standing by the tree. Still a much needed woods day.

"chicken of the tree" is delicious.
I like to use a .22, because it doesnt mess up the meat. I HATE biting into a shotgun pellet. Just not safe to do that here unless you REALLY watch your backstop.
Fried squirell, or fried and then stewed with gravy, is some fine eats.
