When I've done catering I "make" my red sauce from stuff off the shelf. I cook my own vinegar sauce. But even that recipe is pretty much from the internet. It's not a thing around here so people are always surprised how good it is.

When I've done catering I "make" my red sauce from stuff off the shelf. I cook my own vinegar sauce. But even that recipe is pretty much from the internet. It's not a thing around here so people are always surprised how good it is.

I knew what your answer would be. I make that same vinegar sauce for pulled pork whenever I have it. I’m betting that our Georgian friend uses something store bought…

I have been to Texas, but never resided there. Longest was a week. A little hot and dry for me. I like mountains, and stuff growing. Don't want to live where water isn't abundant. We average 55" rain a year here. Long growing season. I did a spreadsheet before we escaped, and east TN checked all the boxes.
