Got some wonderful news on Friday too. Some may remember my pics of the old Wairua hydro station we visited to get some info for my girls research project on eel migration.
Well she won the district science fair with that project! Certificates, cash and her name on a beautiful hand carved trophy.
Very proud we are.

Yep. We just put the mats down to catch the falling olives. Mainly we try and get the olives out of the tree with as little damage to the tree as possible.Is that the before pics?

Sometimes we prune and pick, but its not good weather for that now, so mainly just harvesting. I use those long sticks to flick olives from the high branches where the harvester doesn't reach.
How old is that particular tree?
