I take care of mine. But they get used.
I've had my not very cheap Benelli so packed full of mud while goose hunting I had to remove the trigger assembly sitting in my lay out blind and scoop it out just to get it to cycle again.
Rifles coated in ice while deer hunting.
I'm just sure to clean them after use.
Scratches happen.

Walmarts carb clean is good *s-word
I dissemble my pistols and
Hammer down with the spray on everything
Then bore cleaner and a bristle the barrel.
Then 10w30 for gun oil

Morning chimp spankers…66 to 78 and clear. No hunting this morning, gotta help a brother do a couple of things. Might hit it this afternoon but then again the Dawgs and cold beer crank up at 3:30 so we shall see.

Any of you fellers happen to have any Barnes TTSx bullets? .308 cal, 150gr.? This is just the bullet, not loaded cartridges im looking for.
My Dad is in need of some more ammo, thought I had a box of them, turns out they are 180's...
I'd buy the box, trade for them or whatever. 20 would be sufficient.
They are on backorder everywhere I've checked

While on the subject of guns. I put 100rds through the Glock 42 and its a dream to shoot compared to the Ruger LCP II. I take care of my guns and always clean and oil them. My EDC gun gets packed full of lint so i gotta blow it out. I have a few i rotate to carry, shotguns and rifles i hunt with, and some are just because it was on sale and a good deal like the Glock 42 i just bought. I didn’t need another .380 but why the hell not if its a good deal. I have way more than i’ll ever need but who’s counting.
