I'd like to. BUT.....

The gear ratio in the truck...and transmission would have to be changed. And the cost of a Cummins is absolutely insane around here.

I bought a 1974 460 out of a Lincoln. I'll be building it over the winter to replace the 351.

No.....I'm gonna try to keep cost reasonable. The 460 is a typical Ferd.....terrible flowing exhaust ports. Most of the cost of this build will be in the heads.

I have a guy interested in buying the 351W for a Mustang he's building with his son.

That would suit me fine, but it belongs to my daughter in law. They were gonna fix it up, but dont want to spend the money on it. Needs a lot of work on the "shipping crate".

Will there be a MM meets the ford 460 build? I hope at least it has a muffler mod and porting done to it.

I posted quite a bit about the 351W when I was building it.

The 460 will most definitely have porting done. The exhaust ports on them are horrible.

They were thinking it was worth a chunk just because of the motor.
Think maybe they have come down some since.
Need to get it outta the yard.
Got a couple of folks that asked about it.

Here is some head info for you @Mastermind
Just some info, definite combustion chamber differences. So tread lightly and do alot of information highway reading before pulling triggers

I've traveled all the way down that road Tim. Even been talking to Scotty The Mad Porter. LOL

The engine I bought has D3VE heads on it. Thermactor bosses in the D3 heads......plus the 95cc chambers make them less than ideal. But much better than the detonation prone D2 heads. The D0VE castings are the better choice......and I think I've found a set.
