Great test there Steve E10 not for meThought you fellas would find this interesting. As some of you know, I've been conducting a long term E-10 vs REC fuel corrosion test with mineral, blend and full synthetic oils. Two different brand oils of each type. Each jar contains bare steel, aluminum and magnesium. This example below happens to be Motul 800 off-road. E-10 on left, REC fuel on right. This faster evaporation is across the board on the E-10 jars. Our friend the Kiwi posted an article that shows that ethanol evaps faster than the gasoline. It's interesting that there is still enough water saturated corn squeezins left, after a long term storage, to ruin stuff. But as we know, it does.
