Every trade is different but hopefully some realize this is a good time to start up their own thing. There's such a shortage of workers and tons of work that needs done. People are waiting months. Yes start up costs are different for different fields but can always rent equipment for the first year or two till one gets money together for their own equipment. More people should be jumping into the self employment pool

Every trade is different but hopefully some realize this is a good time to start up their own thing. There's such a shortage of workers and tons of work that needs done. People are waiting months. Yes start up costs are different for different fields but can always rent equipment for the first year or two till one gets money together for their own equipment. More people should be jumping into the self employment pool

I'm thinking most of these folks could get a job if they wanted it.
Some probably will take the opportunity to do their own thing.
Lot of machinists, welders, fabricators.
This was an electric motor plant. They built the high horsepower stuff. 500+ horsepower. Some over 1000.
I see a lot of electric motor repair shops potentially opening in the Charlotte, Shelby NC area.
