That's usually the case when you're handed something funky and not given all the details. Years ago when I was at the dealership, I
was handed an older YZ-80 project and told to get it running. The thing had been beat on and most of the fairings and plastic covers
were broken. It turned out the company owner's grandson had stolen it from a neighbor and took it on a joyride and wrecked it.
$1,800.00 in parts and three days of labor later, it rolled out the door...

Got the not real truck mostly packed for Ohio. Still our cloths and a cooler going in the cab. Gotta love the water proof trunk. Plus GFY @dall .And no Dallas, its not at max payload, its over. Lol.

In the trunk, with room to spare...

two camp stoves, one camp chef propane 40,000 btu two burner and one camp chef single burner butane stove. Two cans of butane. 11 pound lp tank. Large jumper pack with air compressor. Safety Seal tire repair kit. Roll of shop towels. Two folding 13" tall step stools for easier awning deployment. Porta lew with box of bags and poo powder. All the poles for the awning plus two spares. And on top, our 9'x12' folding camp site mat.

No. And these don't really have a pan. The cases come together and there is a valve body cover on the side.
This whole ordeal is a total clusterfuckk.
Vehicle was towed in, "won't move unless gas pedal is to the floor".
Ok, yeah, it binds like crazy. Raise it up, transfer case leaking, less than half of the fluid in it that should be, shot with metal.
Tell Service manager and he asks if that the only problem. I say, I dont know, I cant exactly drive it and I sure as hell cant drive it if I remove transfer case..

He sells transfer case as they are non serviceable.
Well, that didnt fully sure the binding issue, and in typical management fashion, tossed my under the bus, then backed it up over me, then drove off into the sunset. So, here I am with the transmission out and apart...

Normally he sits in his office jerking off to nascar.com.
For some reason, he actually wrote this repair order, and I can't figure out why as he normally never does that.
I can only assume there is more of a back story to this I am not privy to.
I'm always leary when he dumps a repair order on me because 9 times out of 10 it's a *s-wordshow.
But, 99% of the time he never knows what I'm actually working on and never makes it further from the front of the shop than stopping by Lord of the Wrench and jerking him off.
In fact, he's holding the Lord's hand right now..
