I’m thinking we’re sitting right at that dew point this morning. Will be over 90 later, smoke from the fires is making its way back in to the city as well.

We appreciate the help Todd. My province has over 130 active fires burning, most are northern and not affecting and settlements but there are about 4 towns that have been evacuated and are staying in hotels in the city. British Columbia to the west of us is in even worse condition, mountainous terrain and the fires are closers to towns and cities.

We need rain all across Western Canada.

The Boys left last night should just about be there now

Found a starving German shepherd her puppy and a large mixed dog
On my property.
My neighbor tried to get the pup.
But they all took off running
I got animal control out here they
Found them and 2 more pups several miles away
at
The same fukin' *b-wordes house that gets animals when they're young
And doesn't care for them.
I had her red husky here a few years ago
That had 5 puppies
She left for Daytona beach and didn't leave food out for them.
Husky brought the puppies here for food
They were given to people that would take care of them
She needs arrested.

What's the worst built house you've seen?
I was asked to check out a 200k new
House in a subdivision
For a couple I helped build a few houses and stuff and plumbed quite a bit.

I was asked to look at the plumbing.
I didn't make it that far
Because I was asked to leave
After pointing out the picture window
Was bowing the wall out a good 6" into the yard.
And all the sheetrock
Was cracked in the first floor around all the windows.
The contractor was pissed when I asked what he did for a living.

I was just there to look at the plumbing layout and quality of work
I never got to see it
But the husband wasn't impressed
And was concerned.
Most of the sheetrock was hung and
Cracking
I'm guessing to save money on 2x4s they
Lightly framed the walls and the studs were
Losing the battle with the second floor.
And roof
I'd love to have pictures
This was before cell phones.
But many of the windows were bowed
You could see them bubbled out.
It was actually scary
That they'd sell these deathtraps.
I'm not saying I was the only reason
But the couple backed out of the contract
I don't know if those so called houses are still standing.
