good enough for who its for ?
I can't imagine doing commercial work these days. It's sad, but the intelligence of our "work force" seems to have hit an all time low.
its a little of both
management scheduling and then hiring their relatives that have no skills or experience
we built a plant about 13 years ago and management was nothing but retards only thing they wanted to see was pieces in the air and hanging in place
you had surveyors setting elevation at different points every day
which goes back to management not able to do anything but ride around in their truck and try firing anyone for any excuse they could think of
it got so bad there if a person was fired the unemployment office wouldnt even classify it as a firing where youd have to wait for the case to be heard
should have been a 18 month job
i got a total of 24 months there and was still wasnt finished 6 months later
when i got laid off it was because i was waiting on foreman with a parts list of what was needed
and when i walked out the gate with check in hand i let the superintendent know along with everyone in the office how much of a piece of *s-word he was over the radio
there was one superintendent there that made the whole job gather up all their tools and then rerun welding lead and tools back to the work areas
he was in the tool room and i asked whos *f-wording bright idea it was and he took responsibility for it and i told him in front of everyone in there he was one ignorant *f-word
wasted a week doing the gathering and rerunning of tools
welding lead is about a pound per foot and a pain in the ass at times to make sure its up and out of the walkways and overhead for safety reasons
