In the past 7 days I’ve whacked, chipped, and stacked 22 mostly blue spruce wif some white and scotch pine thrown in to keep it interesting. It’s a little swampy at this site. There might be a few skeeters around.

I didn’t really count. But I think about 5 or 8 wasps probably nailed me a total of 20 or 25 times between them, they get on your clothes and crawl along stinging as you know they don’t have a barb so the only way is to flatten them. I didn’t hang around for anymore to land on me. I went and got dressed up
I found the incinerated wingless dead queen.. my index finger is for size comparison.
