It appears a giant rape van just pulled up behind the shop.

I bet at least one of the idiot lubies will purchase a giant toolbox to place their 3 sockets and 2 wrenches in.
Tell them a top box is no good without a long rolling cabinet with a side work bench. Remind them not to forget the tool cart ;)

That will be 18k and you can make affordable weekly payments. LOL. Can I interest you in something to put in the drawers at list pricing.

Our Snap guy is the only decent guy we have. He's actually a pretty good dude and will deal.
Our Mac guy is useless.
Matco hasn't been here in over 2 years.

what did you buy ?

Nothing.
Other than 2 lubies I have the smallest and possibly oldest toolbox here. I'm fine with that. It doesn't repair vehicles any better than the big shiny ones and it doesn't add inches to my dick.

Good morning fellas.
Ashamed we didn't get no body count from last night...but silence is the rule of thumb! If by chance you didn't get 'em deep enough in the dirt, don't fret...hogs will uproot their asses and eat 'em bones, teeth and all!

I used to buy the used chit off of tool trucks when they had something decent to offer.

SnapOn guys we had were so so here and there.
One Mac guy was good and the rest sucked.
The last Matco guy at Bear was cool. He always had a deal on trad-in/repo tools. You got another 15% off if you knew where the guy was that fugged him and ran. I got 30% of once for stealing the tools back and buying them outright. It was a good deal for me lol.
Our supply girls for the auto body shop and paint booth were always an interesting read and conversation. They had the best assets imo.

But most young men coming into the trade don't want used. Maybe I'm just old schooled. Sucks to get old, damnit!!

My current toolbox I bought used in 1997.
I've since added a mis-matched Craftsman top to the Mac bottom. New, used, I don't care as long as it works.
The new kids can't change oil or check an air filter but after 2 weeks want to make more than I do..
