I was gonna ask for more pics. You have an access hole to tighten the top ball down i guess? And why a receiver hitch at the bottom instead of another bumper? sized ball Dallas?
Yes the front of it is open part of the way and it gives me a way to get a wrench on the nut
I have 3 receivers and I use them on other things too
I will use the upper ball more than the lower and it will help keep the weight lower without a ball or receiver pinned on

So I just wrecked ma first Milwaukee 18 volt drill. 12 years of steady, often heavy use took its toll on the ole gear box. Sumpin stripped oot. Time for a new brushless model like the one I keep in the house.
You will burn up a brushless faster. They are AC motors and have no stall torque like the conventional drills. All you get is longer battery life.

I beg to differ.

I went to community college in 81 - 83 to be an ASE Certified wrench spinner. Today's automobiles blow my mind. Just looking under the hood I'm like......F-That.

You're a damn super hero Ed.

I was set to go in '86 and reluctantly at the time changed it and went to a good welding school instead. As what I envisioned was becoming true and I didn't want anything to do with it.

A good guy like Ed should have his own shop to truly capitalize from his efforts.
