House I'm working at today. Guy was in the process of putting a cab back on his truck. Went and borrowed the neighbors forklift.

Me: You're not planning on driving that in the yard are you?

Guy: it's got wide tires...it'll be fine

Me: not a good idea... seriously. It's going to instantly sink. They're much heavier than you think and belong on hard surfaces.

Guy looks at me like I just spoke Russian and proceeds to start his off road adventure

Less than a minute later...

One ton 4wd dually wouldn't budge it. I said you're gonna be surprised whats gonna have to come pull that out and what it's gonna cost. He wouldn't admit it but I could tell he felt beyond stupid
I love dumb mfers that prove you right when you told them so.

So something interesting happened today. First time I've seen this in person. Its 90 today and humid as a fat chicks underboob. After mowing all our biking trails I grab up one of my little Remington Mighty Might saws to tune up some low hanging brush on said trails. Near the end of the tank its running all erratic and tuning does nothing and it dies. Cools off a bit and fires back up. Runs a bit, starts the same *s-worde. I pop the fuel cap and what was left blew all over. This is the older all magnesium version of the saw, tank and all, and its so hot I can't touch it. I drive a 1/4 mile back to the garage with ma lil rider, fill up the saw and the fuel boils for several minutes in the shade with the cap off. I was almost afraid to use it. Now I know why they lengthened the Mighty Might saws in the front and changed to a plastic tank inside the magnesium case. At least that's my thinking anyway. I need to run the plastic tank unit I have here to see. Supposed to be as hot tomorrow and Friday.

Damn I hate standing at the lathe all day. Makes my undersized legs hurt.
Speaking of hurt Boss man, How is that hand coming along?? I could recommend a good hand orthopedic surgeon up here in Pittsburgh. Not blowing smoke just speaking from experience. Your buddy @sawmikaze would prolly pick you up at the airport. And if you don't fly well 9.5 hr drive not too bad.
