We got hens everywhere here now. They be cruising down my streets. In Collingwood they beat up they're reflections in your car door. We don't get the smart birds around here. These be urban big birds.

We talking chicken, or turkey?

A good air rifle would add meat to the freezer, and help control the population.

Just sayin.

R u tagged out or what ?

I don't bother with them.
Here you apply for a tag and pick a week.
Each "season" is 5 days, Wednesday through Sunday.
I'm not taking time off work for a turkey.
There are so many here it's crazy, yet our DNR acts like they are endangered.

Turkeys everywhere after reintroduction a few decades back. Ginny hens run all over Tabernacle now in big packs. My cousin started them off free range about thirty years ago. They spread all around town now.
Had a turkey hen eyeballing me out front my house Monday. She was forty feet away. Skinny young bird she is.
Big Toms cruising three towns around here and they don't take any chit from dark colored shiny automobiles.

Wife enjoys the bunnies too much here to eat them so I keep the crossbows tucked away most times and the air "tools" ;)

Iam glad you knew that at least I was stumped
It’s a common slang us Cajuns use. Could mean a lot of things. Mostly well i’ll be damned. But we use it for basically any cursing phrases lol

Overtime tomorrow. Need to cut grass if it ever quits raining. And hopefully get some stuff together so I can go to next weekend to get together
Cool. I wish I could make it to that one. I’m trying to get a few saws done this weekend. Plus grass mowing and all normal BS lol.
