Explain yourself young man!
We need to know what sorcery you concocted to put a Makita battery on a Milwaukee impact.
How dahh you!(que Greta Thunberg).:D

Just an adapter a friend of mine had lying around in his garage. He wanted to see if it would work on my milwaukee. And it did!

Now would seem an appropriate time to post a decent pic of the actual adapter Tex.

Good morning guys.

So the old black dog met his end yesterday, not far from where I photo'd him a few weeks ago. He was doing the same thing, soaking up some late morning sun. We had an Easter egg hunt Sat that turned into a bonfire and party into the night. One of the gals came back to collect her vehicle. Got in it and sat just long enough for Hank to wander behind her and lay down in the sun. My girlfriend had him for 14 years, and treated him like a king. He led as good of a life as any dog could. I had started plans to build him a ramp to get up and off of the porch easier. He had declined a lot in the last couple years, no doubt he didn't see or hear it coming, and he couldn't have bit the tire with any kind of force if he had. We put him at the end of a fence row near the bee hives. She plans to put a pollinator garden there. R.I.P. Hank you ODB.View attachment 291873

Look at Amazon...they make adapters to cross all manufacturers’ batteries to different manufacturers’ tools and vice versa.
Yes
The dewalt adapter to run the 18650 batteries
Instead of nicad saved dozens of good old tools
From being thrown away
At my friends construction company.

When I re-tell this it's gonna go something along the lines of...A mate got told off by the motel lady for doing strange things to his meat up on back of his pickup. :D
That is ED ZACHARY what happened, just maybe not the way most peoples deviant minds would imagine it.

I need to get an old style 18 volt Milwaukee to M18 adapter.
Have an orbital Sawzall with the multi position handle that is a badazz tool for construction and demo, just dont have any batteries left to run it. Got plenty of M18 batteries from 2 amp hour to 9.

Didn't get all my wish list achieved, but two out of three ain't bad I suppose.
Started raining not long after I began mowing the lawn. It's a 90 minute exercise at best behind a 19 inch push mower but I just carried on.
Washed the scooter up too. Bit of liquid laundry detergent diluted in water makes a mean surfactant soak for other people's land that attaches itself.
Found a YT vid filmed on the same property we rode on Sunday. At 7 mins you'll see them turn off on some flags down into a Level 3 expert loop. This is the sort of riding we do most.

@cuinrearview Sorry to hear about your doggo mate.
I've had to make the call on one final injection for two sick dogs and that sucks too.

Thinking of ya bro. Mostly running through a paddock in your birthday suit at stupid o'clock. No Homo.

Adam.

Man, this thread is the social media thread of the forum:D, I can't keep up.

Sorry bout the ole dog, Tim.

Almost time to quit working and go out back and get to work storing slabs away, and unload that last mesquite takedown so I can load this week's takedowns.

Sorry to hear of the method of his demise. I suspect he knew what he was doing and wanted to save you the decision and pain in watching him decline.

Time to check out and go somewhere else.

Sorry to hear about your dog.

Thanks guys. Another Californian had babies Sunday, a cat had some kittens yesterday, and the LGD pups are growing like crazy so we can't pause for too long.

Good morning. Supposed to get some snow today. Started out at 10" over the weekend. Last night it was down to 1-3". Be safe today.
