Just got the call from my cousins. My uncle's lung cancer is stage 4 and he is too weak for any treatments. So its just a matter of how much fight he left in him. Sad day indeed here. The destruction of a few pines tomorrow will be my therapy to help me get through this.

Sorry to hear that John. Hopefully he’s got some fight in him. My FIL was diagnosed stage 4 liver cancer and given 6 months to live. This was almost 3 1/2 years ago. We thought for sure the drs were right when they tried surgery and once they had him open just closed him back up. Timor was too entwined with other tissue trying to remove it would have killed him. He got mad and started fighting. He’s been healthier at times than he has been in the 12 years I have known him. Last tests show that the tumours have shrunk so much they are considering trying surgery again.

It can and should be done as long as there is still some joy and quality of life. If his joy is gone the best things is to tell him you love him, help him be comfortable and just be with him (when you are allowed).

My friend I grew up with has terminal cancer
The oncologist
said there's nothing they can do.
And his uncle who was my neighbor for 40 year's has mouth cancer.

Good morning y’all. Off today so I can work Saturday and Sunday without timing out. And put back together the turbine BS. I just finished the new cylinder Breakin and testing that’s going on my jonsered 670. When I get time I’ll rebuild that bottom end and have a nice 3 red saws in my collection.
