Best part? Gm said take the pan off, remove the pump and check the idler.
After doing so, there is no idler visible.
When I asked for clarification, I was told idler is not visible and to just replace the stator support as the idler is part of it and not serviceable...

GM have that tied up in a nice little ball .Non serviceable parts that’s a racket

Ended up getting things together and home at a decent hour today. Kids just left. Came by for a "planning meeting" for the camping/fishing trip next weekend.

The jb weld was for brents saw. I had to Epoxy the upper transfers to get the transfers to Have enough duration and change the angles of the primary transfers. It ended up a very strong runner. That’s pulling 20” 3/8.

Maybe get to the timing advance tomorrow. Didnt get home in time to run to town for some filler rods to do the muffy modulation.
