My older brother didn’t sell some of our dad’s guns...he just needed some money and the fella he borrowed the money from wanted the guns as collateral. He’ll get them back next week after he pays the guy back. No idea why he didn’t just ask somebody in the family to borrow a little cash...foolish pride I guess.

Stopped for a bite to eat.....just wanted to say that Dallas is an insanely good fabrication master.

That is all.

Back on the road.
So......"we are loading the Case and heading out" and this has my machinery CSI activated.

We waiting, impatiently....

Good mid-morning road trippers and rotor flippers.
Absolutely beautiful here today. Had a mate stop by last night so relaxed start here.

Building a roof like your neighbors curved one requires three engineers, an architect and possibly and act of congress if the roof is going to be "approved" by local clueless building inspectors. Plus the local zoning office will need to approve the color and shape to make sure it suits them well. That was just the permit attempt for the township planning board to approve your idea. If you use timber and not some engineered prefab system it could literally take years for approval. They have lost their minds in NJ.

Your bureaucrats are probably right Ken. That was an owner build and never achieved code without a lot of glad handing by our now neighbours. If you look closely it's arched on the top but has a flat taper on the pics right over the kitchen. Whole place is iffy. We looked at it but my builder threatened tradesman divorce if we purchased it. He lived here while it was being built. Underground waterproofing had to be all redone too. Pity, lovely location.
