Must be nice to have days off. I just have days with no pay but plenty of work. No time to collect sap this year

But yesterday I checked on this poplar
Blocking a ridge access roadturns out the guy that owns the adjoining property dropped it i've never met him.
He wanted to stop traffic from going through there
Impressive stump he left with his poulan

It was a guessing game where it was going to land his neighbor told me
It swayed back and forth before finally
Falling.
There was no face cut
Just a plunge on each side.

I drop tree's for.
It runs in the family
I saw the old fella drop a poplar uphill
When I first moved here.
That poplar hit and sprung back downhill
Tearing all the buttons
Off his shirt he couldn't get away from it
I've cut for him ever since.
