@Dream Up2 crane man?
You do mobile wheeled cranes too? Was working on a couple of jobs today amongst a Liebherr 8 wheel 1090? and a Grove 8 wheel 4100. Both lefthand drive (you'd call it normal)...
Nah.
Totally different class of liability insurance.
Thats what it comes down to really.
So many law suits nowadays.

Not liking that at all Dave.
When they called I just assumed it cleaved his finger's off
That thing will smash steel fittings
Paper thin.
He's very lucky his bones didn't shatter.
The real issue is the jaws were very dirty
It forced dirt copper shavings and grease
Into his fingers
I bet he's hurting today.

Good evening guy's
I went and checked on my nephew View attachment 285644
He's a plumbing teacher
And was helping a student use a propress
They go to about 9000 psi
Crimping 90* 1/2 inch fittings.
The student dropped the 3000.00 machine
And my nephew caught it by the jaws
The student accidentally pulled the trigger
Crushing my nephew's ring and pinky fingers.
Luckily no broken bones
But the muscles and flesh were
Torn up real bad
He wanted side cutter's to cut his wedding ring off but the nurse finally got it
With snips
It'll take time to heal up.

Prayers for his healing. I hate to hear about injuries like this especially. A working man needs to be able to work.
