@P.M.P. thought you might appreciate this. We hit the hard water a few times so far this winter. Caught a mess of perch and a few of these nice small mouth at a friend's place. This lake has some of the biggest crappie I've ever seen, haven't caught any yet this winter though.![]()

It was 80° and sunny here today. All the brewery's have free beer through the weekend to celebrate Big Gretch allowing the state to open for 4 days. Hope you’re having fun out there.

when you do get to see her she will be handing out your sack kickView attachment 284722 On another positive note grandma Duplechin is 96 and still doing great. I can’t go see her yet because of COVID bs. But I miss her and she says she’s doing fine just misses all her grandchildren and great grandchildren
You ought to be sir. Pretty much the whole world is really.
But the bossman said we aint supposed to get into debates on here about it.
Be glad to share my story through pm or through email.
I've been down the drugs, alchohol, and violence road. I'm on a different road now.
I think its way better. Better than waking up wondering where you are, where you've been and having to find out what you did the night before. Better than wondering if you're going to prison for the rest of your life.
Better than all the scars that come with a life you wish you could unlive or relive. But that's my perspective. Better than attitudes, addictions and all the long term stuff that you have to live down. There's a lot of betters in these days. But I've guess I've said enough.
Going to get Trail Gear tube bumpers front and rear. Friends with a dealer is a nice benefit lol.Bumpers is first thing that rusts off em here...

Ah.....see Tennessee is heaven on earth. Not paradise.
Pay attention dammit !!!!
Well said!I appreciate your attitude sir.
As I'm sure you know, I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic. I agree completely that its important to find a higher power of some sort to help us get thru the tough times.
Where the disagreements always come from is when we apply labels to whatever that power is, and expect others to apply the same labels to their higher power.
When I was attending meetings and speaking regularly, newcomers were always asking what my higher power, or "God" was. I never have been a very religious sort of person, but I do have an idea that works well for me.
I would tell them that we were all riding together on a big ass rock, hauling ass thru space.....and for my whole life, the big rock had yet to run into any other big rocks. Well....to me, that meant that the big rock was following a path....and whoever, or whatever created that path the big rock followed was probably "God". So...whenever I felt like I couldn't possibly make it another minute without getting loaded, I'd talk to the guy that steered the big rock......and ask for some help.
That seemed to help these guys find something they could sorta relate to, without getting into any religious talk at all. And...it was true.
Wrong, THIS is Gods country.
Jesus lives next door to me...![]()
Cajun hell has no hot sauceI live in God's country, what would I know of any place less?
