I love me some catfish lol.
Some catfish are delicious but a lot we have down here are what we Cajuns call pollywogs yellow belly mud cat. People eat them here all the time. I’ve eaten it too but it’s really not that good honestly lol

Man I’d love to eat the fish in that lake. Nice clean and clear water. Not no nasty muddy catfish and redfish like we often eat here.
I think they catch some near world record Salmon around here and in that lake. I'm not much into fishing myself

I love fishing because I love to eat lol. Problem is I’ve been eating fish from a well polluted river all my life lol. Another reason for my brain cells I’m lacking lol

White perch! Yesh so delicious! Best I’ve ever eaten! I have to go north a little to catch those. They aren’t in my brackish nasty river.

So the temp has dropped pretty fast here.
Was mid 50s F when I left Augusta(they are south and a little warmer anyway).
Got back to Elberton, and truck said 41 F with a stiff breeze.
By 6 pm this evening, its 36 F and still dropping. Wind still up.
I know, a lot of you fellas got it a lot worse. Aint complaining. Weather is just a roller-coaster lately.

The lean-to was around 40 F, so I built a fire to help keep the plumbing from freezing.
We dont insulate that well here.

Heck, they have said for years not to eat a lot of fish out of lake Hartwell, due to high Mercury levels. Hartwell dumps right into lake Russell, which I live within 2 miles of.
Eaten plenty of fish from there, and just look at me. I'm fine!:goofy:

Its dropping fast here too. Supposed to be 2° tonight. Got both wood burners going and the heat lamp on in the duck house. Everybody should be warm

If you google Calcasieu River it talks about the several ongoing lawsuits from pollution. Eh I turned out just fine too.:roto2nuse:
