Just workin mostly. Going to get a 6.2 gm diesel running tomorrow hopefully. A friend of mine bought a complete original square body with a 6.2. Ended up having to do a complete rebuild. Complete with brand new 6.5 heads, head studs and the works.

Good morning Dan hope all is well with you today, looks like another hot day for you my friend.

Hi Todd. Yes, we have quite a few hot ones this week. Much better up here on the mountain, but I’ll be working all week at sea level. Gonna need some powder....

Mornin fellers. All this saw building talk almost has me in the mood to finally put one of my vintage saws back together. Finally got its case gasket after several weeks. It has selfishly taken over my entire bench forcing me to set up a table for a temporary bench.
Well, going to get 90° and hoomids today. I best get in the mowing early. Later balloon knots.

Morning guys.
I'm pretty sure by now I have siezed the title of slack master supreme, at least for this weekend from Dallas.
The most work I've done so far was talking my wife into getting back on the bike after getting caught in a bigtime downpour after she made me pull over and stop.

Mornin’. Made meself a little scrap metal post driver this morning. Y’all can guess what my Sunday afternoon is going to be like...

I've used a bunch of different post drivers over the years, but the one I have now beats them all. 2" well casing, no handles, 6" steel plug in the end. In good ground, you can really knock some tee posts in with that one.

I've used a bunch too. For my purposes right now I just need a light duty one, so I figured better to save the money and fabricate a simple one. I put a good chunk of leaf spring in the cap of this one.

I get a kick outta watching a soft handed kid that wants to help Bubba and I build fence grab the post driver. It's always entertaining.
