Thought about that too, but at 198k miles the original springs are tired. I'll probably do a combination of the the two options.

What year is your truck Brad?
If your going to put springs in, just get the 4 frame brackets and a set of 1 ton springs.
Could probably get the springs from a low mileage wreck.
Won't change your ride unloaded.
I did that on my Dads truck.

If you go this route, let me know before ordering anything.

Not familiar with the actual truck of course Brad, but you should definitely be able to add a lower leaf or over-rider that has less camber and therefore only comes into contact with the main pack under heavy load. Ed's OEM solution may do exactly that of course.

So I told him he said I'll buy two
So he's buying a 6.5 and a .308
I don't even know if he can find them anywhere.

I had wondered about what Ed mentioned. I'm a "go to the salvage yard and pull stuff off wrecks" kind of guy. Tbh I haven't looked into anything with it yet because the whole shade tree mechanic thing sux when its below freezing out.

Good evening smellers, just came in from blowing snow. Tried to get as much done as I could as the temperature is already dropping like a rock, gonna be a blister maker for over a week or so, might have to move in with Randy. @Mastermind I'll fix saws for three hots and a cot. Lol
