Nice work Pat. That's a saw you can be proud of. I have a couple of saws I did that turned out good but the pile of saws I fugged up getting there.... ugh. I finally started to make sense of some things when Kevin was nice enough to give me some pointers. I’m very appreciative of that.

Now ive got a bad motor.
Of course its obsolete.
Motor shops wont rewind it, because its an aluminum frame/stator.
Trying to find another gear-head motor combo that I can swap out. Looks like my weekend plans just changed...

You need to find an old guy.
My guy died decades ago. He did 6V, 12v ect ect and was damn good at matching the new stator windings to the armature.
He did countless 6V to 12V updates for street rods. My 39' had a factory heater, electric wipers and IFS bone stock. Only one car manufacturer had that in 39' in the US.
