Bought a crawler that is off-road registered only. Going to put the red 4runner body on this new frame. Will be street legal, and drive anywhere it needs to be.View attachment 278868

Ok that answers my ?
Wondering how you were going to put a crawler in the trailer [emoji15]

Fit in the trailer without even airing down, which was nice lol. The width was a little tight, but not to bad at all. It has 37/14.50's on it.

Yeah Mark, I forgot Mike was into ROCK crawlers. Makes sense though, since he does live close to the Rubicon trail.

I was thinking about an old Caterpillar or a CTL like ive got too.:)

Sweet! Which motor/trans to go with that low/low?
Whats it got for suspension?
3.0 with ported heads it runs pretty darn good. Chevy 63 springs in the rear, and unknown springs up front. Feels a lot more stable than the last one with the linked set up. More drivable is the goal.

It's a modified 1985 Toyota solid axle. That was the last year they used them, and also the strongest. Some guys run 1 ton axles, but they aren't street legal here.
Chur. We had one of those plastic top death traps but in I.F.S. 4 cyl gasser, gutless, thirsty wouldn't die cockroach of a motor it was.
