As president ill outlaw all non torx head fasters that normally could be made with inferior driving technology. Send money to....

In the auto world there has been a major shift to torx fasteners. They are easier to use in automation and sit on the sockets of the drivers better.
Until they have spent a few years exposed to the elements. They tend to have a round/domed head shape, so difficult to grip by any means. Once the internal torx is rounded, your left to use a hammer and chisel.
That being said, I detest them in automotive use.

They are fine if used in interiors. Exterior, undercarriage sucks giant donkey balls.
