I don’t know why you never digested the Parris Island deal. You would make your mother very proud...you would make me amongst many others, very proud of you! You get the life-long title of United States Marine. It’s only four yrs, unless you wanna re-enlist. You’ll see places on this planet that you will never get the opportunity to see in a lifetime. Go into Motor T (Motor Transport) 3500 field if my thinking is correct, MOS-wise. You’d love working on that *s-wordt. And if you don’t want to do more than four yrs...you tell the Corps that you gettin’ out...it’s simple. And come back home to Fla with a *s-wordt-ton of diesel/gas experience...every damn shop in your area would hire ya.

And think about this...if you ever decide to venture and take a vacation on Parris Island...your mother will keep up with me...you can bet your young ass, I’ll be there watching you graduate Marine Corps boot camp...and walk across that Graduation Parade Deck...as a United States Marine!
