Black algae? There is a treatment I put in my bulk tank that prevents the stuff.

The stuff in the tank is like tar.
Usually algae is not an issue here in the summer with Georgia heat.
My diesel mechanic cousin tells me that the newer fuel is junk.
The shelf life is not near as long as the old formula.

The tractor needs to be used more than once a month. The last 2 years i have leased out my crop land so tractor sits more.
I guess i need to retire so i can work more on the farm.

So far that has not been my experience. Hopefully it never turns into that.

I never owned a new tractor, This one is 30yrs old.
Owned it for 20yrs. Other than oils, batteries and tires the only thing i have go out is the water pump and lower lift shaft bushings and seals.
