I'd run that tip on a 050 or 058 any day. Who cares if ya got
a little play at the end of the bar. The bar it self will keep the
chain straight.

Actually you right. (Don't let that go to you head). If it's an old .058 it's probaly going to fit .063 chain anyway. It's only .005 of an inch.
