I have a nice 026 for sale. It is an early "red lever" cylinder with smaller combustion chamber, early case, and open muffler.

Meteor piston kit, NOS plastics from @Nate., china clone wt224 carb, new crank seals. The actual red lever was broken, so I replaced it with a black one. The recoil cover and plastic 1/2 wrap are from a newer saw.

I put this together and have since only used it to limb a big cottonwood - it ran great.

I can throw the bar and chain in for a total of $350 plus shipping. Make me a trade offer! I want an oe 372, 288, 020t, other stuff...

So sad the red lever broke.

It's like taking the supercharger off.

I still have the broken pieces of that lever. Couldn't find the strength to throw them away.

Maybe it could be fixed. Cut a slot or drill a hole for a metal pin to be glued in.

True, but I'm not so dedicated to the cause to be honest. It was the little tab that holds the throttle open for the choke position that broke.
