Never had fuel, dealer sold it to me unfired. My plan was to run it but here it sits the box, I’m too chicken to fuel it and run it. Decided I’d rather find a decent 2188 and let this one go. Maybe the price is obscene but what isn’t these days. I’ll throw the Jonsered branded air filter cover in with the deal. Great saw for a collector, maybe Redmax is a footnote in the red saw line but it might just be the more collectible saw to have some day. $1500 plus whatever we figure out additional for shipping.

Yes I know. The point I didn’t make very well was I’d rather pickup a clean, used 2188 for the work I do rather than spoil this one.

I have one in pieces. I was rebuilding it. haven't even put it together yet. new 390 cylinder/ piston, seals, bearings, cs2188 top cover, starter cover, and clutch cover.. I'll trade you lol

I would entertain a trade of a nice OE 2188 or 2186, something with some wear and tear but nothing too banged up. As it is, zero interest in the G9000 so far and it’s ok if I end up keeping it but I’ll leave the ad up for a while regardless.
