I fear I have 24 chainsaws now, but it may drop down to 23 next week. I rebuilt a Stihl MS290 using a 390 top end. My cost was parts only plus labor. A potential buyer appeared from out of nowhere.

This hobby grows on you. I'm lucky that LOML puts up with it.

My wife got it for my Bday last year. I'd have to ask her. I've seen then advertised on Facebook. Might of came from what ever site that was idk. I'll see if I can figure it out.

About the only chainsaw that I don't want is one that cannot be fixed without parts that do not exist. But, now and then I can make some parts in the shop, assuming they are simple enough. My Poulan 4000 needed a new choke lever. I shop-made one that someone said works better than the original.
