A 500i with a full wrap, Maxflow, and a 36" light bar is a force to be reckoned with. I love my full wrap 500i, and the only time I don't like a full wrap is when I need to flush cut a stump. That isn't often, because usually an excavator or dozer is used to rip the stump out and move the timber. Also, the 36" is mostly for reach, 24-30" is usually what I cut. That saw will pull a 36 just fine, though, if you have the rakers right.

I stand corrected, I just called... MS500i with 25" bar is $1629... he just scanned it for the 15% and it does not apply(weird)
but the MS661C with 28" bar is $1539... he scanned it for $1308.xx so 15% applies to it...
Sorry for any confusion.

No Sir... I only posted cuz I was just there yesterday and held the 500i for the first time... seen the 15% off sale and was all happy to share the info.
