Here is a new Stihl 500i 3/4 wrap. Not much more to say other than it is a new PHO. The price is$1500 plus UPS . This will be the last new 500i I sell. Other new saws here currently are 201T, 261 Arctic 1/2 wrap, 362 Arctic 1/2 wrap, 462 Arctic 1/2 wrap, 462 Arctic 3/4 wrap, 661 1/2 wrap, and 661 Arctic 3/4 wrap. I traded the 881 but will have one more next week.

Good price.

I read a lot about how folks really liked the 500. When I was ordering saws in January I ordered (1) that was a 1/2 wrap. It sat here a goo long spell and in March a gentleman from the Wisconsin line came down and bought it. I was not planning on another but I figured what the heck I will get a 3/4. I do not plan to reduce the price and I do not plan to pop the cork. If it sits to long it might head to Jamestown for some monkeying.

Now I need to go check something.....my son texted and said "buy it"

My grubby hands await! 😃
I got a little worried earlier this morning thinking tomorrow might be "Juneteenth" and the big brown truck would not be here. I looked it up and the holiday is Thursday so that is not a problem. There is one other wrench though. On Friday when UPS was here the driver said I was getting a new driver starting on Monday. The current guy is good but very scatterbrained. He said my new driver would be Chase L. I was hoping it would be as Chase was a student in my shop classes. His Dad was a few year older than me and when in high school used to work the early morning shift at UPS catching packages. He then became a driver and is retired. His son did the same and will now be the driver for my area. I need to make sure I am here Monday to talk a bit with him.

Not in full wrap trim.

Full wrap (3/4) is nice to have in some tricky situations. But mostly is not needed. I'd take a new bar, chain, scabbard, warrantee, price savings, etc. anytime, all the time over a rarely used "full wrap". Additionally the additional "wrap" segment is a PITA when trying to get a factory scrench in there to do any chain maintenance or swapping. I found a solution to that but only after busting my knuckles on the extra dog that typically goes with the full wrap.

I have bars, chains, scabbards, and the saw is new. The warranty has not started. As for savings.

"Tricky" is what I get into, it's a super rare occasion that I'm asked to cut anything with no targets or in ruff terrain.
I bought a regular 500i right after Helene to partner with the 592xp I had for my job. To separately purchase the full wrap kit from Stihl it was in the 260.00$ range, which includes the clutch cover ,spikes ,and fittings. ( 592xp was less than 50.00$ !) .
Bill's list price was definitely a bargain in comparison for me, and I have a large number of bars with the exception of 28"s .

I will phone the Rural King Store Monday to see what they have to say. I see they are open until 9PM today but the chances of finding a knowledgeable person on a Sunday evening is slim to none.....and slim left town.

I stand corrected, I just called... MS500i with 25" bar is $1629... he just scanned it for the 15% and it does not apply(weird)
but the MS661C with 28" bar is $1539... he scanned it for $1308.xx so 15% applies to it...
Sorry for any confusion.
