Has anybody had any luck with this seller? We know he replies within minutes direct messaging before you send the payment, provides his number to text off opw platform, and wants payment via Venmo, but after don’t hear from him, another guy having the same issue with this seller. Just curious if anybody actually received anything they had purchased?

It looks like he was skirting the rules for selling by advertising in the chainsaw forum rather than the trading post/chainsaw ads section. I'll have a chat with @59billy about this.

My 2c … He direct messaged me about the 064 cases / parts - sez he has em but never followed thru with the rest of the info. I understand life happens , however getting folks hopes up and then ghosting isn’t a good long term business strategy imho

I would really, really like to know what you are doing to make good on these transactions.

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this has to be said. The seller did not have the proper amount of post to even list things so how did this even slide through the cracks here? People took the risk of buying without verifying the seller was even legit or had any feedback ratings. I don’t understand why we keep this cycle on repeat here.

You're right. At the end of the day, buyers need to exert due diligence. And i don't know why he wasn't banned a year ago when he was active.

But, moving on, I just want to encourage everybody to report any posts that don't seem right. But just remember, the mods can't protect you as well as you can protect yourself.

Dude reached out to me first via direct message saying he had parts that I was looking for that I had posted in the sales ads for parts only, and yes I posted that in the right section. I didn’t message the dude First based on any of his posts, I simply wrote a post here, on his post, to make others aware. My $100 was sent Goods and services main reason because I was so hesitant.
