Just like the title says, new never cut wood. Not sure where the market is right now but would like $1,500 shipped. Can add a new 32" stihl B&C for another $100 if you want it.

Probably about right on the price with no wrap. Great deal if it had a wrap.
They are just under $2k here, with wrap and 28" light bar.

Was at the store today…$1880 for that combo but with a regular bar. $100 difference now between regular and Light bars 😳
The 462 was actually a bit higher than the 500i, crazy.

Similar I just picked up brand new R model for $1100 but it only had 20" bar and chain.
If you got a new 500i 3/4 wrap with a 20 inch bar/chain for $1100 out the door that is a dealer you need to support as he/she might not be around long.

Lotteries: a tax on poor people.
Time for a Bill G story........

I agree lotteries are targeted to poor folks and they make richer folks poor. When Illinois pushed the lottery down folks throats they claimed the lottery profits would go to fund the school system......bullsheit! Then even worse is what Iowa and Illinois did here in the late 1980s. For many generations this was a huge manufacturing area. On the Iowa side we had a John Deere heavy equipment plant and a Caterpillar plant. On the Illinois side we had a International Harvester combine plant, Farmall tractor plant, and a Case plant. This is the where the John Deere world headquarters is located. We also had Deere harvester, Deere plow and planter, Deere foundry, Deere parts distribution, Deere proving grounds, and Deere experimental works. There was also the US Army Arsenal Island with close to 20,000 jobs. The 1980's farm crisis forced the closure of many of the agriculture and construction plants. Also after the chitshow of Vietnam the United Sates was not fighting large scale conflicts. That caused large scale cutbacks at Arsenal Island. Needless to say that devasted our economy. The politicians tried to BS folks that we were going to get the Saturn car plant when GM proposed it in the mid 1980's but hell no. There was no way GM they were coming here. Then their next line of hogwash was making this "Las Vegas of the Midwest" with riverboat gambling on the Mississippi. They told folks that riverboat gambling would draw folks from all over the United States. The boats started in 1990-91 and had to cruise the river before gambling could take place. You had to pay to get on them also. My wife and I had a friend from school that was a cocktail waitress on the Illinois boat. She would give us free cruise tickets and drink tickets. The first time we went on I bought (2) $10 rolls 25 cent tokens. Once I lost the first roll I cashed in the other. After that a couple times I threw away $10 in the 25 cent slots. Later we just went on for the cruise.

Stihl dealer local to me, is closing up shop, all Stihl products are currently 30% off.

I thought about buying a few things to flip, however I left empty handed instead.

They still had pro saws there a few days ago, the owner told me Feb 1st, everything will be 50% off.

I may go back.... 🤷‍♂️

I have no idea where "home" is for you but the Stihl distributor should be taking back unsold current saleable inventory.

Home is where my house is.

Not all stihl dealers go through a distributor, I know of a few dealers around me that do not use a distributor, they get saws & parts right from headquarters, once they have items in store there is no take backs, from the mother ship.
