Stihl 026 Pro.
Stock/OEM carb
I have managed to break the High adjustment screw off. Got the broken piece out.
The carb has only two screws, the idle screw and the High screw.

Does anyone have a carb in the boneyard with the High screw that you could sell me. PLEASE!!

Thanks

Nice press!
Thanks. That’s my pimped out 550B. I also have a Dillon SL900 (12ga) shot shell machine that I think is the bestest/fastest! I cannot say enough good stuff about it. I can load 400 perfect 12ga shells an hour with it. I upgraded some stuff on it too.

It’s hard for me to believe, but I’ve had these press’ since 1999. That’s a long time. Prolly better stuff out there now.

Doubtful! I have had my Dillion since the late 90's. I bought it used and called Dillon for a part. They told me to send the whole thing back and they would go through it and refurbish it. I asked how much? They said free. I'll be getting a 550 later this year.

It’s a great press for the money and you can’t beat the warranty. “Lifetime No BS Warranty” . I load 9mm,.45acp, .223, .308, .45 Colt and .45-70, .45-110, .38, .357 , 30-30. I even did 5.7 for a while. All on the 550B.

Rereading my last post. I tried 5.7 for a while. From the factory the cartridge is coated with a really thin, slick lacquer. It’s required in order for their 50 round mag to work. Once you start shaving the lacquer off in the reloading process they fail to function properly in the magazine. I never figured out how to get around that. Plus, I was trying to get a 55 gr. bullet to work and never really figured that out. I drilled my chronograph with it. I can’t remember if Dillon stepped up for that repair or not LOL. I bought a thousand rounds and eventually sold all the 5.7 stuff when my gun club demonized it. Cool cartridge though.

I just found this in a junk drawer. The dark spot is where the lacquer on the case got rubbed off in resizing.
