HELP! Ms462 clutch cover

I need a clutch cover for a 500i but I don’t think they come with out the captive bar nuts. Is there one for the 462 that will fit Without the captive bar nuts?

West coast saw has one without the captive bar nuts. It’s very expensive though. Can the captive bar nuts be removed?

I think you can drill them out.
In my opinion it is a step back, I don’t see any reason to change that

I had a buddy give me the WCS cover for my 500i. It’s definitely more heavy duty but looks like crap on the saw. I’m having mine cerakoted black.

It’s to fit a wallenstein wp525 wood processor. The saw mount uses the bar studs.

The raw aluminum was a bit much, lol. They are definitely stouter than the factory cover though.

It's not a perfect match, but close


My buddy in the body shop at work went through 5 decks of white paint cards and this was the closest.


We use PPG paints if it matters.

I got 2 of them for a steal, they are definitely tougher and obviously spit chips and noodles better.

No, I took a socket extension and knocked them out.
