I should have a few. I've cleaned some of them up but still have 4-5 to go through.Looking for an oem ms460 cylinder.
Thanks in advance.
Most of that looks like transfer.Let me know if you have a good one you want to sail. The one off of this saw is scored through the plating...
I tried clearing it up using mastermind's method and that's as good as I could get it. I ran an o-ring pock across it and it feels like it drops in not rises when it crosses those areas. Most of that looks like transfer.
That’s definitely chipped platingI tried clearing it up using mastermind's method and that's as good as I could get it. I ran an o-ring pock across it and it feels like it drops in not rises when it crosses those areas.
plating is coming off below intake for sure.
So, what are the differences between the 046 and the 460? Are both 50mm?
I have 2 Mahles, 52ZK9. W2 and 52ZN25 W2
The ports inside are quite different. Exteriors look the same.

Thanks!046 / 460 are 52mm.
044 / 440 are 50mm.
I knew that046 / 460 are 52mm.

Thanks for the clarification DocThe one with the squarer intake is a 460. The other is an 046. It’s got smaller tighter ports and I think a D chamber.
do you know if that is the original cyl that came on the saw? never seen one that wasn't either SK or Mahle and clearly marked. My cylinder doesn't have any numbers on the base like the ones in your pics. I'll take the AMs, but I still want a good used oem if you're willing to part with one.
