Looking for an oem ms460 cylinder.
Thanks in advance.
I should have a few. I've cleaned some of them up but still have 4-5 to go through.
I do need to separate out the 044s from 046s and 460s :p
might have an AM one for free.

Found 3 of the 52mm 1128s, 1 is junk but 2 look promising. Need to run them in the sonic tank for a while to see for sure.

Let me know if you have a good one you want to sail. The one off of this saw is scored through the plating...

Most of that looks like transfer.
I tried clearing it up using mastermind's method and that's as good as I could get it. I ran an o-ring pock across it and it feels like it drops in not rises when it crosses those areas.
plating is coming off below intake for sure.

So, what are the differences between the 046 and the 460? Are both 50mm?
I have 2 Mahles, 52ZK9. W2 and 52ZN25 W2
The ports inside are quite different. Exteriors look the same.

That’s definitely chipped plating

046 / 460 are 52mm.

044 / 440 are 50mm.

The 460 cylinder I have measures 52mm. I can get casting numbers if needed. 046 might be 50mm. Not sure on differences between them port wise.

So, which is which? Both are 52s and look identical externally. Internals are quite different.

The one with the squarer intake is a 460. The other is an 046. It’s got smaller tighter ports and I think a D chamber.
Thanks for the clarification Doc

My cylinder doesn't have any numbers on the base like the ones in your pics. I'll take the AMs, but I still want a good used oem if you're willing to part with one.

do you know if that is the original cyl that came on the saw? never seen one that wasn't either SK or Mahle and clearly marked.

it's supposed to be all original. I did not see any signs of previous removal when I tore it down.
