K so technically the saw isnt whole...but the whole thing is disassembled in a box. It was scored when I got it..360 degrees around the cylinder leads me to believe it was straight gassed but I did empty mix from the tank when I got it. I did not vac/pressure test before I took it apart to clean it. The bearings aren't rough or grinding but are tight to spin. Note the blue big end. This sucka got hot. Everything is clean and ready to be reassembled except the cylinder. I rebuilt one of these last month and swore I'd never do another...then this one happened upon me...I just have no desire to put it back together. So I'd like to pass it along to someone who would like to rebuild this over engineered, over weight, piece of fine German wood cutting machine. If anyone wants more pics of the individual parts just holler and I can text em or pm. Or add them here I guess. I'd like to have 300 plus half of shipping. My price is firm...if I do not get my price I will shoot it with a .308 elk killing bullet...then light this mutha on fire. Zero *f-words will be given. :D

Oh...I forgot. I'll include a new oem piston. And the fuel line in the tank was mush so it needs that. I threw it away. I was going to order one...so if that sweetens the pot I'll keep it on my order and include that too. It'll just be a few extra days till I have it.

Ted, if there weren't three other saws on my bench right now I'd put this together for ya. They aren't that bad once ya done one. I thought the tank/handle replacement was the toughest part. But I made a wooden wedge thingee and it's not so bad now. You think it will sell faster if it's together ?
You wanna do a 562 for me and I'll do this 441 for you ?

I quiver at the thought of organizing the screws well enough to put a husky together again.

Is this box you plan on shipping it in the same one you stood on to look up the elephants ass ?
This is an insanely confusing post. But sure...the box I ship the saw in will be one that I stood on to look up an elephants ass. I promise.

I'm interested in this wooden wedge thing...I threw two screwdrivers and a crescent wrench in my basement while pissed off trying to remove the tank handle...my wife actually asked if I was ok...she never cares about my welfare enough to ask. She was seriously concerned though. I should preface that by saying...I'm no mechanic, just a hack that tinkers with a few saws in my basement. But I digress...I appreciate your offer, however, I'm not very interested in rebuilding a 562 that I would have to give back to somebody...I'm no mechanic. I wouldn't be confident I'd do it right. :(

It's literally a piece of moulding that I twisted the back of the tank on with. Off was no prob for me. On was a challenge. So I did it about 5 times just to see if it got easier with attempts....i swore it was the wrong tank at first...

Morning bump. Let's get this saw moved. I'm willing to help Ted in anyway. They are better saws then their reputations.

thanks boss man...the wedgie looks interesting. I have no beef with the 441, I just feel there are better offerings from stihl from an engineering standpoint. they run pretty good...ive run a few. I'm sure a guy that actually works on saws and has done a few have no problems with these things....I just don't have the motivation....or wooden wedgie to put the tank back on:D

If anybody is worried about the "blue" crank. I'll throw one in as well.

Let's get this puppy a new home.

Aww hell man you don't have to do that...I'm not sure a blue crank is a huge deal, just wanted to show it so there's no surprises.

i give $ 2.00.

Thanks for the offer mr lawnboy...I'll consider it and put you at number 5,654 on the list. I will trade it straight up for that 064.
