The previous owner had unhooked the kill wire at the switch and the spring had gotten out of position. It still ran great but that was enough for him to shelf it. Comes with a 16" bar and chain. Starts up and runs great and shuts off like it should. The brake and everything else is in working order. How does $150 sound? If I had a compressor handy I'd blow/wipe it off and ask $200. It's pretty clean under the sawdust and bar oil soup.

That’s what they go for around here, used. Muffler mod really wakes them up.
Just stay away from the ‘Easy Start’ version…😒

Just sold one for $250 locally. Local homeowners love these and are willing to pay out for them. Not bad saws either. New one at the store is going for $450.

If the buyer wants I'd pull the muffler and open up the outlet.

Have a 250 here that needs a repair and has a case with it. For some reason the needle bearing was missing in the clutch and it wore a hole in the oil tank. He decided he was capable of fixing it and ordered a new tank assembly off eBay. Saws together but hasn’t run since he’s messed with it. Asked him what’s his cut off price for parts and labor he said 125$ or so since 300 new. Told him over 400 now but still wants to keep it to 125 told him going to be tough to do if you made an air leak putting it together. So first step is to see if it has a leak because if it needs stripped to the crank and resealed won’t happen for 125$. If it gos over that he said I’ll probably end up with it. So we’ll find out if it’s a carb kit and clean or much more, if it comes all the way apart I’d have a real hard time reusing the crank seals that far in.
