MS 462 & MS 500i made in Ukraine??

Is there any truth to this, are these two saws built in the Ukraine,
someone here says they are, 3 posts from the bottom of page 2.

If so, what will the parts situation be like.

I’m not a believer. My 462 says Made In Germany right on it. And as far as I know, STIHL saws are still only assembled in Germany (most Pro models) and in Virginia Beach, Virginia (all other saws). That being said, they still source some of the smaller parts from other countries, like the plastic throttle triggers, etc..

Ukraine had potential before all this madness started.
They were producing Mig welders too, Paton brand.
They were working with Turkey to produce drones,
probably didn't help themselves there.

China make the smaller Stihls, the homeowner ones / Chills.

made in Ukraine stamped on them.
