I don't say this only as a proud parent, but also as an amazed onlooker, but my 17 yr old son has become pretty proficient at this guitar tomfoolery . He got a Les Paul for Christmas when he was 11,to try and minimize the video game intake. My soon to be 27 yr old son can flat out jam...he's been doing the guitar thing for years and I've sank some fat money into Les Paul's, Fenders, Ibanez's, Jackson's, and a few acoustical guitars. He's got several Peavey, Marshal amps, foot pedals, etc, etc. Too damn much for me to keep up with anymore!
I may have shown him a chord on Christmas morning but he never touched it again until a year ago in august, literally.
He had been playing the trumpet for a couple years in the school band, so that may have helped build his foundation. I would like to think that he got his musical abilities from me , but that's obviously not true , as I am only good for what I call 3 chord campfire songs . So it must be his brains or good looks that he got from me . Now he's brought home an electric piano about a month ago. within an hour of it being plugged in I could hear him playing Color my World, better than a lot of bands that I've paid a cover charge just to see !
You've never seen that ? I guess I thought everybody had seen that. I guess I'm so familiar with em due to going to High School with all but the lead singer, cept they were Damion back then ...Hey man that is a cooler than hell video you posted
Have you liquidated all of your 200T's, I need a new T handle, was considering a 355 just based on price , but I am second guessing that possible choice after reading some reviews and resale value and life expectancy . Not looking for anything fancy , just reliable.
Thanks, Matt ...
