Anyone who hasn't ran a ported 254xpg should do there selves a favor, I wouldn't take $800.00 for mine! This saw is a steal at this price, these saws are perfectly balanced.

I agree, I did regret selling mine. I describe them as a 346 with torque. If you like a 346, you'll like a 254, and a ported one even better.

I may be wrong but I think it's the predecessor to the 357xp and the 257 the predecessor to the 359. Irregardless- it's a 50cc (range)saw on steroids.
