I don’t mean to sound pushy, but don’t shy away from this one because it’s mtronic: they are solid.

I shy from m tronic, because my saws are only used for firewood. Basically all the home owner and farm/ranch saws are carbed still.

Also my local dealer told me as long as you use the saw for what it was intended for he hasn't seen problems with the m tronic. Sometimes a saw or 2 may sit around for a year or more before I run it again, as I only need so much firewood.

Meh, The mtronic don’t care.

You can get a wrap handle off here.

There are posters above that mod these oilers to oil like an H.O.

FYI.

I have recently, like 2 months ago learned of the R-Model feature besides the 3/4 wrap. I can't believe Stihl's website has them at only a $40 difference, compared to flush cut models.

I priced out a 660, for the 3 oem parts it was over $300 msrp.

It’s ridiculous, the cost to swap one over, unless someone has a used wrap which sometimes happens.

@Mastermind,

What’s Ryan’s Oiler mod on these?

@sawmikaze?

You can just buy a pump from a 461R..or just guts from it if you wanna swap.

How would you guys say this saw would compare to a stock 462 power wise?

Ported 362 would be nearly a pound lighter, louder, and...?

It would be as fast in smaller stuff, but in bigger wood, the 11 extra CC that the 462 has would make more torque.

There's really no replacement for displacement.

I would bet in wood under 18 inches the 362 is at least as fast as the 462 and its about a pound lighter. This saw runs very nice I would say about as fast as my ported 562's were (562 which I ran side by side with my friends stock 661 and was faster bucking than him in a pine log (about 16 inches) so it should do well against a stock 462)

I am looking for a 362R non M tronic or I would be all over this.

the only things m tronic probably wont like is running in real heavy smoke for firefighters and running it completely out of fuel while cutting which I don't do with any of my saws....

as evidence shown, an added BONUS with this particular saw, it won't melt if it happens to rain while using it.

ps. randy has hawt legs even if they are covered by them bibs

pss. figured for sure randy would melt but he didn't...interesting.

I knew you were queer..weirdo.
